Welcome. I am a tiny human with a big heart. I was born and raised in the tiny island of Singapore, left eons ago and haven't looked back since.
For the past many years, I have just been moving and traveling wherever opportunities and coincidences take me. Mainly because that's where work takes me. I am a development/aid worker however you wish to call it and most days I really love what I do. To me, however little I can do to help alleviate human suffering, I will do it.
Besides the work, I travel a lot. I have been very lucky to have the chance to swim in Sierra Leone's untouched beaches, go camping in the deserts of Senegal and Sudan, horse riding around the pyramids in Cairo, ziplined down the Great Wall of China, get lost in the souks in Marrakech and ride motorbikes along the Thai-Burma borders and much much more...
This photo blog is dedicated to the continuation of places, people and stories. Because I continue to struggle with writing, I take pictures. Some intentionally captured for memory sake, many others accidental. In so many ways, we owe it to the world or simply the person next to us, to share the images we see and in hope that one picture might bring some cheer.
I am pretty darn good at party planning, enjoy a good laugh, the company of my friends, sunshine on my face and will never say no to wine. Above all, I believe in being kind to others or karma will bite you back in the bum.
Come in, sit, have a cup of delicious cyber tea and let's get to know each other. Enjoy!
Small note to the kind reader: the pictures on this blog are my mine and would appreciate if they remain so the case. Thank you.
